Day 1 - 2

Arrive in Lima at any time. Check into our hotel and enjoy the city. As your fellow travelers are arriving at various times throughout the day, there are no planned activities other than a group dinner and info session. Please look in the hotel lobby for notices on when and where the group meeting will occur.

The next enjoy the tour around this amazing city, we will visit some of the most iconic highlights like the main square, the cathedral, San Francisco convent and others.

Special information
It’s very important that you attend the welcome meeting as we will be collecting insurance details and next of kin information at this time. If you are going to be late please leave a message to your TL at the hotel reception. Ask reception or look for a note in the lobby for more information on where the meeting will take place.

Day 3 - 9

Arrive to Cusco, Cusco is the continent’s oldest continuously inhabited city, and has become the hub of the South American travel network. Spend a little time acclimatizing to the high altitude (3450 meters), then set out to discover some of Cusco's lesser-known sights on a guided walking tour with, remember that you will have plenty of time to explore this amazing place. This evening you'll receive a small duffle bag to carry your clothes in for the next four days (5 kg maximum), this is only for the people that is doing the hike. Your team of porters will carry these bags for you, together with the food and equipment for the trail. Please note that you won't have access to these items until the end of each day, as the porters will always be ahead of the group.

Early morning wake up to travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. An important source of food for the Inca, the Sacred Valley is a lush agricultural region that continues to supply the city of Cuzco with much of its production. The town and fortress of Ollantaytambo are strategically situated overlooking the beautiful Urubamba River Valley.

The next morning, we start the most amazing trek that will take as after 4 days walking to Macchu Picchu.

Cusco stay: If you decided to stay in Cusco you will go back with your TL, remember that you will have 2 extra days in this amazing city to do any of the many optional activities. For the people that stayed in Cusco on day 3 of the hike you will take a ride to Ollantaytambo from where you will take the train to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night. The next day is an early wake up to take the bus to Macchu Picchu.

On day 4 rise early to take advantage of viewing Machu Picchu in the early morning light. This is the best time to view the 'Lost City of the Incas'. Join our local guide for a detailed interpretation of the site and Inca history after the tour (2 hours approx.) you will have some free time to explore the site or do any of the optional hikes in the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco.

Last day in Cusco, enjoy the tour around this amazing city, we will visit archeological highlights, you will have some free time for last minute shopping or just to chill with a well deserve massage or just to walk around this amazing city.

Day 10

Leave behind the highlands and take a short 2-hour flight will take the group back to Lima. The rest of the day is free to explore more of Lima's sights and perhaps do some last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, you will get together with the group for one last night dinner.
